Community Service and Outreach

It is most important for students to understand the importance of helping others less fortunate than us. IHM helps instill the Corporal Works of Mercy in students  by collecting food/goods/clothing or raising money for various philanthropic groups.  

Students and Faculty take part in any different service projects throughout the year. Below are past events we have taken part in throughout the years.

Donations for US Troops overseas ( annually)
Collecting bags of American soil to send to US Troops overseas (annually)
Midnight Run drives (monthly) 
Alzheimer's Awareness dress down in purple ( annually)
Pink out day to raise money for Breast Cancer (annually) 
Catholic Schools Week service projects  
Blessing Baskets drive for our local Scarsdale Fire and Police Departments 
Animal Shelter Drive 
Dress Down for Hearing Loss (annually)
Coat Drives
Second Choice Toys Drive (annually)
Pajama Drive for Blythedale Children's Hospital
