Our Catholic Schools Week activities are going very well. So far, the children have enjoyed Pajama Day and Msgr. Brennan’s Magic Show. Many of our parents had the opportunity to visit classrooms today and we also had some new families come to visit IHM for the first time. “Souper Bowl” is tomorrow. This will be the last call for soup and other food items for the Food Pantry. I will give the tally next week but so far we have collected over 1,700 items. The class that brings in the most food will win a pizza party as a gift from our PTA. On “Souper Bowl” Thursday, the children may wear jeans and a tee-shirt/sweat shirt with their favorite team logo. We will end Catholic Schools Week with the 9 AM Mass on First Friday. Dismissal on Friday will be at 12 Noon.

Tuesday, Feb. 7^th – DARE classes begin in the 5^th Grade. Detective Sherri Albano is our DARE Instructor from the Scarsdale Police Department.

Wednesday, Feb. 8^th – Dr. Carla Tornatore will give Dental Health Lessons to our Pre- K and Kindergarten /classes.

Thursday, Feb. 9^th and Friday, Feb. 10^thauditions for our Spring Musical will be held from 3 – 5:30 PM. Auditions are opened to our children in Grades 3-8. Please check the flyer for Drama Club information and fill out the required information so that auditions will go smoothly. The Spring Show includes singing and dancing. It is sure to be a big success.

Friday, Feb. 10^th is the official end of re-registration. If you haven’t re-registered, your child’s seat is not secured for the 2012-2013 school year. Please be sure you send in your $500 per child non-refundable fee.
