Drama Club

Under the guidance of various directors and the musical direction of Dr. Laurie Adamo, drama at IHM has been an integral part of the curriculum for over 12 years. The students are given the opportunity to express through music, song, dance, and dramatics.

Over the past few years, Dr. Laurie Adamo has greatly enhanced the IHM productions by providing her extensive talents as the Musical Director. Her beautiful piano music accompanies our students in their musical productions. Her time, talent and patient teaching are invaluable to all the children who participate in the IHM musicals.

The theatrical season at IHM produces 3 spectacular events. The season begins with a Fall Musical for grades 3 through 7. Followed by the 8th grade musical (a tradition here at IHM) and finally ending with a musical review for grades 4 through 8. All productions are performed at the Murphy Performing Arts Center with state of the art lighting and sound system.
